2022 FLBS Open AIR Artist-in-Residence Profile: Maria Uhase

Artist Maria Uhase uses her craft to explore the juxtaposition of art and biology through surreal imagery that works to celebrate the intricacies and complexities of the natural world. During her residence at the 2022 Open AIR Artists-in-Residence experience at FLBS, Uhase was inspired by limnology, local geography, micro-, and macro-organisms to create experimental illustration pieces.
