Data and Donuts: Summer Seminar Series

The Data and Donuts Summer Seminar series is offered every summer during the first four weeks of the FLBS Summer Session. The series offers students and the public the opportunity to hear speakers across a wide variety of ecological topics.

2020 speakers and topics will be announced as soon as they become available.

 

Due to current Covid-19 precautions, the 2020 seminar series will be offered to the public via Zoom online video conferencing.

Join FLBS researchers for appetizers, beverages, music and an overview of Flathead Lake ecology and the FLBS Research and Monitoring program.

FLBS Open House



Canceled for 2020

The annual Bio Station open house has been canceled for 2020, due to the risks associated with the Covid-19 epidemic. We look forward to seeing you next summer!

 

 

The Bio Station open house features something for everyone in the family:

  • Presentations on local science topics
  • Demonstration boat trips above the FLBS science vessel, the Jessie B
  • Interactive science kiosks for the kids
  • Science exhibits presented by FLBS researchers
  • Tours of Bio Station facilities
  • And back for another summer - Monte, the UM mascot!
Meet FLBS students, professors and staff and learn more about FLBS research and education on Flathead Lake.
