Winter is still in the air, but the spring season is quickly approaching. Monitoring Montana Waters is heading into our third year of providing financial support to citizen-led watershed monitoring groups. If you are interested in strengthening the scientific capacity of your group, MMW has both lab analyses funding (up to $6,000) and gear funding (up to $1,500 available every 3 years). In 2022 we funded 9 different groups, supported many sampling events, and facilitated the laboratory analysis of over 1000 samples.  In 2023 we are looking to continue to expand our funding and outreach even more!
