Who: Teachers in grades 4 through 12
What: Join us for a full day of discovery sponsored by the Flathead Community of Resource Educators (CORE) and the Flathead Lake Biological Station.
- What resources are available for my classroom? Explore a variety of educational trunks available for you to check out from local organizations including Audubon, CSKT, U.S. Forest Service, Hockaday Art Museum, and Glacier National Park
- How do we monitor Montana waters? Get hand's-on practice in stream sampling and learn how citizen scientists are playing a role in helping keep Montana's waters healthy
- What's up with all the new beaches? Learn about dynamic equilibrium beaches from a Flathead Lake State Park ranger, see them in-person, and get some lessons to share with your students.
- Includes: Lunch, 6 OPI Credits
