Help Missoula Osprey Baseball Support FLBS

On July 17, the Bio Station is partnering with the Missoula Osprey to participate in the Conservation & the Environment Community Outreach Game Night at Osprey Stadium. The event is part of the Osprey Community Outreach Fundraiser, which supports local non-profits and organizations working to better their communities.

Our Missoula Osprey ticket website is now LIVE!

If you would like to support FLBS and attend the Missoula Osprey Conservation & the Environment Community Outreach baseball game at Ogren Stadium in Missoula on Wednesday, July 17 at 7:00 pm, simply click on the link and purchase your tickets. The Missoula Osprey are generously donating half of the proceeds from every ticket purchased through the use of that link to FLBS!

NOTE: We only receive proceeds from tickets purchased through the provided link. We will NOT receive proceeds from tickets purchased through any other website or in person. We are applying all proceeds received through this program directly to our research and monitoring of the Flathead Watershed.

The Bio Station has a long-history of studying osprey. During the 1960s and 1970s two graduate students, Buzz and Butch MacCarter, extensively studied osprey nesting and reproductive success around Flathead Lake during their recovery following the ban of the pesticide DDT. Recently Butch re-surveyed Flathead Lake osprey nesting sites 40 years after his previous survey in 1976.

Whether you’re a fan of the Missoula Osprey, interested in sustaining our freshwater ecosystems, or both—this is an excellent opportunity to enjoy a night at the ballpark while doing your part to help Keep Our Waters Blue!
