Salary: $12-$15/hour

 

We are looking for a Temporary Cooking/Kitchen Assistant to work between June 21st to August 13th, Monday - Friday.

Duties for this position consist of:

  • Provide skilled cooking of any menu item, including full meal preparation and service: provide “home-style” cooking in quantity
  • Maintain cleanliness of work area, including all phases of cleaning and dishwashing
  • Helps maintain inventory of food and all kitchen equipment, dishes, etc
  • Responsible for sanitation of food, kitchen and equipment
  • Follows food service regulations at all times
  • Records amount of food used at each meal and number of meals served
  • Prepares sack lunches and field trip meals in addition to serving students in dining hall
  • Assists with daily food preparation (e.g. salad bar, baking)
  • Miscellaneous duties as assigned
