The FLBS FLARE K-12 Program has created a fun and engaging way to connect K-12 students and families with the celebration of Earth Day!
Announcing the 2020 Earth Day Art Project!
From April 22 through May 6, K-12 students, teachers and families are invited to create an Earth Day-inspired art piece using materials available in the home. The artwork should attempt to answer the question:
What actions can you take to make your everyday life more Earth-friendly?
The artwork must visually represent an everyday action that you can take or adapt around your home, community or the Flathead Watershed to make it less harmful for the Earth. When the artwork is complete, simply take a photo and submit it to the FLBS Earth Day Art Project submission page by the end of May 6. Once all submissions have been received, they will be posted on a virtual gallery on May 13, 2020.
While there is no judging of the projects, all submissions will be entered into a drawing to win a special FLBS prize package! Winners of the drawing will also be announced on May 13, 2020.
