Syd joined FLBS in the Freshwater Research Laboratory in 2017.  With a colorful background in research, ranging from microbiology to biomedical molecular biology, moving into the field of limnology was an exciting chance to use these skills in a different discipline.   A born and raised Montana native, Syd enjoys the outdoors including camping, hunting, and fishing; is an avid animal lover; and, when a quiet moment chances by, loves to read and do art.
