Graduate Student - Wildlife Biology
I am a masters student studying under Dr. Gordon Luikart. My research focusses broadly on the early detection and prevention for secondary spread of aquatic invasive species. Specifically, I test eDNA field and laboratory methods to increase sensitivity and expand the early detection window. My applied graduate research also includes the use of presence/absence records and big data on environmental conditions to predict the risk of spread of aquatic invasive species using machine learning.
