Flathead Swim Guide
The Flathead Swim Guide is a collaborative project between the Flathead Lakers, Flathead Lake Biological Station (FLBS), and the Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes. It provides weekly updates on water quality for 16 swimming locations around Flathead Lake.
The Flathead Swim Guide is part of the Swim Guide, an initiative to provide beach and water quality information on thousands of swimming locations throughout the world.
The Flathead Lake Biological Station supports the Flathead Lake Swim Guide by providing water testing services for water samples taken from local swim beaches, and by monitoring our own local swimming beach, to ensure Flathead swimming waters remain clean and clear.
Monitored beaches on Flathead Lake currently include the following locations: https://www.theswimguide.org/beaches/montana.
