Shane Urban

Shane is originally from Rochester NY. He attended Susquehanna University where he graduated with a bachelor's degree in environmental studies. He moved to Polson in 2024 to join the Big Sky Watershed Corps and further his career. During his time with the FLBS, Shane assisted the FLARE program, expanding educational opportunities to K-12 students through field trips & outreach events. Additionally, Shane helped develop the 2024 Flathead Lake Swim Guide. Shane is passionate about protecting our watershed and educating the public on ways they can help our natural environment, so it may be enjoyed by future generations. In his spare time Shane enjoys running, open water swimming and kayaking.
