Brianna Elizondo

MMW intern

Brianna is originally from Holland, Michigan but spent the past three years in the Upper Peninsula attending Northern Michigan University. She obtained a B.S. from NMU majoring in Biology and Spanish. Growing up in the Great Lakes region she’s very excited to still be living by a large freshwater lake.

Brianna is currently assisting with the Monitoring Montana Waters (MMW) program. MMW supports water quality monitoring efforts in Montana by providing scientific, technical and financial support to citizen-led watershed groups. MMW offers assistance and consultation in designing monitoring plans, selecting analytes for analysis, and providing on the ground training in methodologies.

Brianna joined FLBS for two years as a Big Sky Watershed Corps member, in 2024 and 2025.
