Graduate Student - Ecology & Evolution
Cora joined FLBS in June 2024 to begin her master’s degree research with Dr. Bob Hall. She obtained her B.S. from the rival school, Montana State University, so she’s starting out a “house divided”. Studying big waves at eye level in her whitewater kayak fueled Cora’s desire to pursue a career in river science. Currently, Cora is focused on understanding nutrient and sediment transport dynamics, particularly how land use changes and extreme climatic events influence their cycling. If asked to pick her first favorite hobby it would be a 10-way tie. Akin to Cora’s love for her home state of Montana is her love for her partner and dog.
