Congratulations to our 2018 Flathead County Science Fair “Day at the Station” Awardees!

• Boone Shanks a 5th grader at Glacier Gateway Elementary
• Calvin Schmidt a 7th grader at Kalispell Middle School
• Laney Conger a 9th grader at Columbia Falls High School

These students presented excellent projects in the area of Environmental Science and demonstrated initiative in conducting independent research. Their award includes a tour of the Bio Station, a demonstration in sample collection, and the opportunity to spend the day shadowing FLBS scientists.

All three did a terrific job on their science projects, and we are looking forward to hosting them at Flathead Lake!
