Alyssa Schaefer

Alyssa grew up in Dripping Springs, Texas and went to college at Colorado State University. She earned two undergraduate degrees, one in Ecosystem Science and Sustainability and the other in Spanish. She is serving her BSWC AmeriCorps term with FLARE alongside Kelly Minear, the FLBS Education Coordinator. Part of her term is also with the Flathead Lakers where she helps with their events and sampling. Alyssa is passionate about sustainable tourism and environmental communication and in her free time likes to hike and watch Survivor. She is excited to be in Montana and is looking forward to exploring the state and doing education programming at the Bio Station.
